1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and IKOALA INC ("we," "us," "our," or "Company"), the developer and publisher of the TocMap browser extension. By installing or using TocMap ("Extension") or visiting tocmap.com ("Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Extension or Website.

2. Description of Service

TocMap is a browser extension that generates and displays a table of contents for web pages. The Extension operates entirely within your browser and does not require an account or internet connection for core functionality.

3. Use License

Subject to these Terms, IKOALA INC grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use TocMap for personal or commercial purposes. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or sell the Extension.

4. User Content

You retain full ownership of all content you access through TocMap. We do not access, store, or transmit your content. All processing remains on your device.

5. AI-Assisted Recognition (BYOK)

TocMap offers an optional AI-assisted page analysis feature. Your API key is stored locally and requests go directly from your browser to your chosen AI provider. TocMap does not proxy these requests.

6. Intellectual Property

The TocMap Extension, including its code, design, icons, and documentation, is the intellectual property of IKOALA INC.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

TocMap is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IKOALA INC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Extension.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective when posted on this page.
